Overview
The Labfors 5 Lux LED Flat Panel or Stirred Tank are easy to handle, flexible benchtop bioreactors that use energy saving and reliable LED lighting.
The main advantages of the Labfors 5 Lux LED Flat Panel compared to the Stirred Tank are scalability to pilot production and more even light distribution throughout the culture. The Labfors 5 Lux LED Flat Panel is ideal for biofuel research, while for photosynthesis applications the Labfors 5 Lux LED Stirred Tank is the traditional choice.
Either Labfors 5 Lux LED is assembled with applications in mind and there are choices and options to optimize for a specific cultivation strategy. Culture in batch, fed batch, and continuous modes are possible.
Primarily used for Algae, Plant cells, Cyanobacteria, and Cultures, from 1.6 to 1.8 L (Labfors 5 Lux Flat Panel) or from 0.6 to 2.4 L (Labfors 5 Lux Stirred Tank). The Labfors 5 Lux control unit is suited for other applications such as bacteria or mammalian cell cultures as well, depending on specifications.
Precise control or monitoring of light, temperature, stirrer speed, pH, p2, antifoam/level, feed, gas mix, gas flow, with other channels free.
